Tutankhamun’s death masks drawn by Year 5
As part of their Ancient Egypt topic, our Year 5 historians had a virtual visit from an Egyptologist from Warwick Museum.
Ahead of the visit, Year 5 were loaned genuine Egyptian artefacts which the children used to raise and answer their own historical questions. Through the artefacts, the children learned all about the Egyptian way of life and how they prepared for the all-important afterlife.
As you can see from the photo, the children also produced their own artworks inspired by Tutankhamun’s death mask!
