Dear Parents and Carers
On Monday 14th November our school will enjoy a Poetry Day with Andy Toozle.
Andy is a poet and specialist poetry teacher from Derbyshire. Prior to working as a full time poet he was a primary school teacher!
Andy will engage the whole school with both an introductory and celebratory assembly. He will visit each class in turn to run dynamic and interactive poetry workshops.
Signed copies of Andy's books, 'Green Shoots Rising', 'The Poetry Bug' and 'The Poetry Bug Strikes Again' (which you can purchase at all good bookstores) will be available to purchase on the day for the discounted amount of £5 each.
