Stratford Town Colts Football Club are one of the biggest football clubs in the area who coach a large number of boys' teams in several local and regional leagues. We are very proud to announce that two of our pupils - who represent Stratford Town in the Colts Under 8s team - are the deserved winners of several footballing awards for the 2022/23 season.
Harvey-James has won not one but three awards this season! Harvey-James' accolades, in the words of his coach, are as follows:
- U8's Ambassador Evesham Football League Trophy - for representing Stratford Town Football Club for the season 22/23 in the Evesham League.
- Mr Strong Certificate - for always remaining strong throughout the football season. Never scared to tackle and if the ball hits him he just carries on. His monster kick from one end of the pitch to the other has resulted in goal assists. Harvey-James always plays with great strength and confidence.
- The Golden Glove - for achieving a whopping 21 clean sheets in goal. The most clean sheets by far in the whole football team.
Elliot has also shone brightly on the football pitch this season and is the proud recipient of the following awards, as described by his coach:
