Blooming Sunflowers!

During the summer term, The Friends of Alveston organised a sunflower competition and this week we announced the winners in school.
 
Runner up was Year 3's Krish and first place winners were sisters Hazel (Year 2) and Annabelle (Year 5).
Hazel and Annabelle's winning sunflower grew to a whopping 10.5 feet! Amazing! Not only was it tall but the flower itself was also huge. Well done Annabelle, Hazel and Krish!
 
Thank you to everyone who took part and also to the Friends for organising such a wonderful competition for all.
