Friends of Alveston is the school's Parent Teacher Association (PTA). Whilst fund-raising is a major part of Friends's activities and directly contributes to the improvement of the school, there's a lot more to it than that!
Friends help to build the whole school community, The Alveston Family, including links with the wider society. All of this benefits the school and offers a positive influence within the local area.
They also add to the colour of the school year by planning, organising and delivering fabulous, fun events for our children, families and staff.
The Friends of Alveston always welcome new members and helpers and it is a great way to get to know other parents and families.
We would love different parents to lead different events at school. So if there is something you are particularly passionate about or if you have an idea for an event or activity, please do get in touch!
