On Saturday, our team of 7 runners went to the Cross Country County Schools finals in Rugby to represent the Stratford area.
It was a glorious, sunny morning, the children were all up for the challenge and we got some amazing results!
Year 5's Isabella took Gold in the girls' race, racing home to victory on the final straight. Simply stunning!
Year 6's Lydia, Harrison and Year 5's Oscar P and Sam also qualified for the Nationals in 2 weeks' time at Market Harborough. Year 6's Megan and and Lily M also put in a sterling performance but sadly just missed out on qualification this time.
Well done to all our runners - we are very, very proud of you all!
Thank you to parents and supporters for their continued support and for getting the children to the event. Thank you too to Mrs Chandler for all her efforts with our Cross Country Team.
