Friends of Alveston Event Reminder – ** Bag2School**
There will be a clothing & shoe collection with Bag2School, at morning drop-off on Monday 16th October, in order to raise much needed funds for Friends of Alveston.
Hopefully you will have received your Bag2School leaflets in your child’s book bag.
This is the perfect time for a pre-Christmas clear-out and to get rid of any summer bits cluttering up your wardrobes. If you have any items that you are able to get rid of, please pop them in a bin bag and attach the leaflet to the bag. Items can include adults’ and children’s clothes, shoes (tied together please), belts, handbags and soft toys. The leaflet gives more information but you can also refer to the website here for further detail.
There is no limit on the number of bags so if you are having a massive clear-out, we can accept all the bags!
Please note duvets, pillows and work or school uniform with logos are not accepted.
Most importantly - THE HEAVIER THE BETTER!!!
