This week Reception have been learning about changing states as part of their Understanding of the World work. What better way to do this at this time of the year than with chocolate! The children observed how chocolate changed from a solid to a liquid as it melted using hot water. They then made chocolate nests and waited for the chocolate to set into a solid again. Overnight we were lucky enough to have a visit from the Easter Bunny who popped eggs in everyone's nests. Yum yum.
Lots of super science vocabulary used by Reception this week. Well done children.
