On Tuesday Reception were lucky enough to receive a visit from our local Policeman, Dom. Dom told the children all about his job which linked to our work on People Who Help Us. He also showed the children what he wears to help him do his job - including a walkie talkie, a special camera and a baton. Finally, everyone got to explore Dom's Police van - getting in the prisoner cells in the back, seeing the blue and red flashing lights and, excitingly, even sounding the siren!
